Do you ever wish someone could just tell you what to do? Someone who knew the outcome of each decision and could say – “choose this!”
A recurring prayer of mine is this: “God – guide me down the path you have paved for me.” But more times than not, I still go through life blindly making choices and not seeking Him. It snowballs into anxiety, sometimes overwhelming anxiety, about the future. Stopped in my tracks, again I pray “God – guide me…”
“The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
Psalms 32:8 NLT
He is that someone who will tell us what to do. He knows the outcomes of our choices and knows exactly what we need in any given moment. How fortunate are we to have this?? And all it takes is prayer and a listening heart.
Excerpt from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young:
“As you become increasingly aware of My Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if… or when… you can concentrate on staying in communication with Me. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, I will show you which direction to go.
I will lead you along fresh trails of adventure…
