Colorado vanlife: Breckenridge, Boulder, Winter Park

Day 4: Breckenridge > Boulder > Winter Park

A local Breckenridge running store was hosting a trail race so I used their course map and trail markings for my morning run.

It was nice not having to navigate my way through the trails and I ran into Andrew out there too.

This is a great 7 mile loop of trails winding through a neighborhood with beautiful homes and views of the peaks.

Here’s a little shot of what Andrew does while I’m out running.

We cleaned up a bit and headed over to Boulder. The drive was gorgeous but it was a little disappointing leaving the mountains. We made our way onto Pearl Street and visited some local run and bike shops. BUT it was too warm to camp so we decided to make Boulder just a day trip and headed back to the tall peaks and cooler temps of Winter Park.

Winter Park is a quiet little ski town and our camp boasted incredible views.

Day 5: Winter Park > Breckenridge

We woke up to rain and decided to head back to Breckenridge wishing we had never left. But first, coffee…

The low hanging clouds were definitely a sight to see.

So we are back in Breckenridge enjoying Breck-fast (see what I did there??!) on this cloudy day.

Total weekly mileage: 29.88
